Re-dyno at Surgeline
Went back to Surgeline today and re-dyno'd my car. Last time around, I had 4-5 timing drops running 16 psi. This time I tuned it down a little. Let me know what you guys think.....Could I have ran more boost, like 15-15.5 psi?
Procede settings: 14.5psi IC 100% Auto-tune off All else are on default Car: FBO 92 oct, no meth Temp.: ~75 degrees, ~46% humidity Here is the dyno and the datalog:

LOL......must be, it's Shell 92 oct, which is what I've always put in my tank.
Wonder if Chevron would be a little better?

try all the various brands. IMO Shell is overrated. The stuff is 10-15 cents more expensive here for no real good reason. I put pretty much any 93 octane gas I can find, from Sunoco, BP to Gulf and I never had those kinds of timing drops at that boost level with your mods.

Also, this is unrelated, but I'm used to dynoing in 4th gear, but this last dyno was done in 3rd.....Well, he did a 4th gear run first, and said that the readings were too high? I don't have the printout or the file to that first 4th gear run. But I believe it was around 405 tq/380 hp, or very close to those numbers.....So IDK.
He also mentioned that all the dyno runs that were done in Texas (their HQ?) were done in 3rd gear.....

Changed it back to what? I thought the default IC setting is 100%?
So you're saying when your IC was at 100, you see timing drops? And when you lower the IC there were no timing drops? I thought it was the other way around, no?
