Plasti Dip Wheels

No this is not another thread asking if it is a good idea or just throwing out ideas about trying it. This is a thread about the fact that i did try it and it came out great!

That looks surprisingly good! Might try that to my wheels. And I'd go face + inside.

Not bad, but what are those? 14's? JK

Time of something bigger at least 18's, but my vote goes to19's.

yeah i figured for 5 bucks a can and its removable it was worth a shot... yes yes the wheels are small little stock ones haha might upgrade them when it is time to buy new tires. I just sprayed the face of the wheel and it looks fine to me lol so far standing up good just survived a 1 hr freeway drive with no chips or peeling

ill probably sound like an asshole for this, but i think thats pretty ghetto. theyre not just stock wheels, theyre tiny stock wheels... painting these black (or any color for that matter) looks like you're just trying too hard to modify on a budget. imo. its one thing to be on a budget, and another thing to do cheap mods that actually look cheap.

that being said, you did a pretty damn clean job painting them tho! lol

na you know i actually agree with you oddly enough. The reason i even bothered is because i am considering on getting some new rims but i wasnt sure if i would like the way black rims would look on my car so i did this to see if i would like it. So far i think i am liking the black look.

That's actually a very good idea, and the plasti-dip will still retain its removability. I might be tempted to try that.

looks good!

I did my wheels also just to see how they look like. I like it so imma keep it up until they peel off, then ill just take it all off.

I also put a couple coats of a glossy clear coat so it doesnt have that "dull" look.
