iPod Connection for Professional Radio
Just bought a 2010 3 Series M Sport with the non i-drive Professional radio. The car does not have the USB connection and have been trying to get an aftermarket iPod connection to the radio. The dealer have told me that this cannot be down and gave this response:
"we cannot code in any retro-fit device if it is not installed in the vehicle, also if a non gen device is installed we are unable to program this in either as our Coding unit looks at the part and serial numbers of what is installed and if it is non gen it will not let us proceed to create a measures plan." Any suggestions barring fitting a Parrot device which defeats the point of having BMW fitted Bluetooth module? |
