**Best vinyl to use for interior wrapping?**
I want to wrap my old brown trim and cover it with a nice silver trim.
Which website, and brand is best for this DIY? I've heard 3M is pretty good. How much of it do you think I will need to wrap the center console, doors, etc.? |

BTW, I wonder what's the deal with "Brushed Graphite" vinyl pattern. It looks pretty cool, but I don't seem to be able to find it sold openly anywhere. And a search here seems to show that people tend to form secret societies of sorts in order to group-buy this stuff form some undisclosed vendors.
Does anyone know where one can buy Brushed Graphite vinyl? Last edited by AndreyT; 09-02-2011 at 12:49 PM.. |

3M is definitely the best stuff on the market. It is really easy to work with. A heat gun will be your best friend. I wrapped my interior wood trim with the carbon fiber Di-Noc and love it! Good luck!

My interior is black. However, the first time I saw Brushed Graphite was here
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=564951 and it didn't seem to look that bad to me. |

I got the black brushed aluminum for a custom smart cover for my iPad, and it's not as dark as it is in the pictures. I'd say it's a dark brushed graphite (EDIT: yeah, I put it next to my blu-ray player, which has a black brushed aluminum fascade, and the ME-379 [which looks black], is definitely brushed graphite. Hit him up).

You will need more for Brush Aluminum (texture) than solid colors. 16 Sqt ft will give you enough plus some extra to practice on.
