Anyone purchased these $199 Ebay M3 mirrors??

I really want the M3 mirrors but the OEM ones cost $1,000 more than these do!

They look okay... I guess the only thing they are missing is the "auto dimming" feature, they are foldable and electric...

Anyone have them??

the one shown on the car and the unpainted ones dont even look like they're the same. looks like they used a photo of an actual m3 mirror for the "installed" look, and then theirs for the product photo. i call bullshit product on this one.

One of the vendors here (nvd) used to sell these, but their thread has been deactivated probably due to low sale. A very few number of people have installed them, probably without problem from what I remember.

I think its just that they need to be primed and painted. But I agree the pic is probably of an M3 with OEM mirrors

the crease line is different. the OEM is much more pronounced. the OEM look like two separate pieces for the outer "shell" and the base (black part)... on the ebay ones, it looks like all one smooth piece... meaning u would have to get the body shop to fake a line and paint it two colors which that alone is fail.

Ok, I agree they suck. A friend sent them to me because he knows I want the OEM mirrors. I will buy them, I am just not sure when. Maybe for Christmas.

those still look pretty janky in my opinion. even the "carbon fiber" part is weak... theres so many real looking cf vinyl, why the hell would anyone still use that checkered pattern sticker print instead??? even my razo shiftknob back in 1996 had better cf than that. lol. glad ur happy with the fitment, but still ghetto looking.

They come with prime colour , I dont like the real CF so I painted it, not real carbon. You have to see directly in person and you will love it!

I live a country where there are many mirror thieves so I didn't use the real carbon for the cover to reduce the cose! If I get stole and I afford to buy the mirror again.

Downside is manual fold, has function to insert to motor for glass adjustment! The seller is friendly and good after-sale serivce.

Those are the same ones posted by findanemo. Notice the NVD watermark, and the location (Thailand). Personally, I find the OEM mirrors too costly for such a subtle cosmetic difference.

It should be noted that NONE of these replica M3 mirrors from eBay or NVD have the mirror glass motors installed.

The housings are 1-piece instead of factory 2-piece.

You will need to cut the wires on your factory mirror glass motors, remove them, then re-install in the atermarket mirrors from the mirror glass side.

And of course, none of the aftermarket mirrors have the capability of power folding - all manual fold...
