Ferrari Brakes On My 335xi?

I've done some searching and havent found anything close to this, so my question is:

Do you think front brakes from a Ferrari 360 could fit on my 335xi?

I have a buddy who put a BBK on the front of his 360, so he has the 4 piston calipers, pads, lines, & 13" rotors.

What do you guys think?

as much as i would like to say yes, i HIGHLY doubt it. a ferrari has a different wheel bolt pattern anyway so the rotors would not even fit on the bolts without a huge amount of modification. unless you getting them for free and have time to mess around and have the car apart i would say forget it

You migh not be completely SOL. It depends on some things. I know Ferrari uses Brembo. What I don't know what model they use. Brembo has two departments: OE and performance. If they got it from the performance division you might be in luck. Brembo will have a bracket and rotor if they use the same brake caliper for a BBK for the 335. It's a long shot but maybe.

Why in the world would you even consider trying to cannabilize Ferrari brakes - just b/c they are Brembo?

Seriously - if you really need more braking power, get a big brake kit designed specifcally for your car.

Kind of ironic coming from someone who did a suspension conversion from something not designed for their car.....

Ok, in all seriousness the 996 Turbo calipers with 335i rotors off-hand look to be a good setup. I did some digging, and here is what I found:

"Big Red Kit"
Static brake bias- 65% Front
Torque- 7033F/3664R

Stoptech ST-60/40
static brake bias- 63% Front
Torque- 6880F/4176R

If you can use off-the-shelf Brembo brackets and some shims for the pads, this could be worth looking into.
