Good looking cars, why so rare?
How come the Alfa design team can come up with this
and the best BMW can do is Is it too much to ask too much for BMW to come up with a good looking exterior for what is no doubt a good drivers car underneath, or for Alfa to produce a good looking car which is actually good to drive and wouldn't fall apart after 2 seconds |

Not exactly like for like though is it.
Can't say that many of the small Alfas are anything special. Maybe time for BMW to replace the M1 and show us what they can do for a £200,000 car. |

It's the men in brown cords what done it. I remember the proposed angle of the DB9 bonnet and windscreen had to be changed to meet new pedestrian safety regulations and just look what they've done to wing mirrors in the last couple of years. Speaking of which, will that Alfa actually have mirrors that small or will it get a couple of air brakes like every other car post 2009?
BMWs have appealed to a certain "taste" for the last 7 years or so. The recent offerings have been very Marmite. |

got to agree with OP here...think BMW can do better looks wise. The entire range should be jaw dropping but honestly it's not. The front of the current 1 series is butt ugly IMHO. The new 5 series that has just come out is just about ok. It really does not look special or like a new release. It kind of just blends in to the ordinary.
But we including BMW all have our own opinions of course. |
