head unit on but no sound

I turned on my car and randomly my head unit is on but no sound is coming out of the speakers...could it be a blown fuse?

Looks like these threads are slowly popping up. Mine did the same about 6 months ago. Turned it on one day, no sound. I haven't found a solution as of yet. Could be a fuse or the amp I'm guessing.

Same thing happend to me about two month ago, i was cruising on the highway so
i didnt know what to do, the sound came back on about 10 min later and it never happend again...

i guess i should start by replacing the fuses for the radio first? or are there specific fuses for the speakers?
