im a fan of **********s, great support and overall company so no disrespect to the company, but the angel eyes on their Depos (even their LED upgrades) are awful. Other than that, its a great set of headlights. I went with Fishcake, but would recommend Fishcake's or Umnitzas for the Angel Eyes reasoning.

I just went OEM LCI-Halogen for their great pricing
And when you install LUX 5.0. Their Angel Eyes look amazing.

But it's up to you. If you really need Xenon go OEM LCI-Xenons.

But if you are planning to spend little money for great quality Angel Eyes, Just go OEM LCI-Halogen.

FYI, you can find OEM LCI-Halogens @ Ebay for like $250 a piece sometimes. Look around

Then get OEM. Depo's are waaaaaaaay to subpar to OEMs. They way the Angel Eyes are set up is completely different.

OEM has a lighting structure that makes the lights even all throughout the AE.

All Depo's have LED in the AE ring itself, making it look very skippy and cheap.

But, whatever you want. It's your car

I don't really like the oem 08 style xenon projectors with the orange corners... Will the 09 or 10's work?

Oem 09~11 which are called LCI-Xenons will work on your 06-08 vehicles.

The cheapest way to get them will be from this forum member if they are selling it.

second cheapest will be through E-bay

Third, OEM BMW parts store

Last would be through the dealership.

Personally, these are something that you will be keeping for a long time so have patience and get it through a forum member or Ebay whenever they are available. You probably will be able to get both with $1200

Depos are available with 60 LED rings that look great.

Get it with the FXR retrofit. You get awesome angels (60 LEDs), better than OEM HIDs, and blacked out housing. WIN!

Too bad the FX-R is better than OEM projectors. It's a 3 series, don't except ground-breaking headlights. There is nothing wrong with the LED's. They are a lot brighter then the OEM halogen AA, or the 5.0 LUX.

Fine then, pick up the FX-R projectors from http://www.theretrofitsource.com/
You can get projectors, projector shrouds, and any other goodies you'll need.

And the only reason I've recommended Umnitza for the FX-R projectors is because I didn't know you could get them anywhere else. So now that I know of The Retrofit Source, I'll recommend them instead. People seem to like them a lot more.

And this is why you should do the FX-R retrofit; quite simply, the cutoff and general light quality is better than OEM, coming from someone with OEM xenons:

This is a DEPO projector:

And this is an OEM projector:

See those pictures? A lot of aftermarket stuff can be better than OEM stuff. You should really get off a car thread if you think OEM is the only way to go.

Instead of looking at the light exposure, think of the car as a whole and look at the headlights on the car.
