I ordered a 335i coupe arriving shortly. I own an 04 330i, 30K miles. Trade in offers were around $21K. I sold it privately for $28K! Definitely worth the effort.

Wow if I can get that on a trade. I'd be estatic. I have just under 28K on it now. I think I need to drive it to a dealer on the East Coast or at least somewhere that snows.

I won't sell mine cuz I want to save up for the beast and the best (M3). I'm afraid if I get 335 now and will be sorry when seeing the M3 running around later. Once I'll have an M car, I won't look at other bimmer anymore...

Don't forget..trade in value will be ~ wholesale not retail. Afterall, the dealership isn't going to loose money on a trade-in. Break even maybe, but never a loss.
