How much to install bass amp?

Hi,

I have all the wiring, all I need is labor to install a gain control and the amp. I have a 335 with iDrive, I was quoted $250, does that seem in line? What has anyone paid to install an amp? $250 is at a reputable shop down here in San Diego, I know it may vary by region. Thanks for your help.

IMO i think thats pretty pricey. Theres a DYI in here that shows you how to do it, but it all depends if you wanna put some elbow grease into it.
