Sport Kit Worth it?
This could be a stupid question... and its only a matter of opinion but...
If i plan on changing my rims eventually (BBS CH) is the sportkit worth it if i were to order an e90? I plan on putting H&R sports on it too... Just thought id get some opinions... |

Well, if you are planning on modifying the suspension and changing the rims, it doesn't look like a good very good buy in going for the SP. I have heard that the sport seats are going to be available as a stand alone option. If that is true, that would be the route to go.

Do it. In addition to the sport seats and increased speed limiter, you'll also have the tires/rims as a back up.

It's the biggest bang for the buck on the options list, unless you're purely interested in luxuary. In which case, you'd probably be happier with the IS250/350, which you can deck out with luxuary options for less than a comparable BMW. The sport package is worth the resale value enhancement if nothing else. But if they offer the sport seats as a stand alone option in the future, Jaws's advice is good if you plan on getting aftermarket suspension/wheels.

^ except the sport package doesn't change the amber corners of the headlight assembly. E90 335 sport package is just suspension (firmer, lower), sport seats, 18" wheels w/ summer performance rubber, and if you opt for the Steptronic AT you get paddle shifters for another $100. Up here the sport steering wheel comes with all 335s, I think in the US you also get the steering wheel as someone mentioned above.

The replies above are very helpful! I think sport is a must, although you will be replacing your original wheels and springs (which you can keep and put back on for resale), you will still get the sport seats and sport steering wheel! I think the sport steering wheel is actually more important than the sport seats!
