Not only did she take my parking space

but she hit me.

college co-ed took my parking space, and then once I thought she was settled (ie in park), i moved behind her waiting for another car to pull out. Needless to say she wasn't happy w.the 180 degree turn she had to make to get int the space, so she decided to back out AGAIN. Hit my right rear quarter panel. Left a 1" crease in the sheet metal at the wheel well, and scrapped/dented the rear bumper along the seam where it meet the wheel well.

damage mostly cosmetic, I was soo pissed off by her total lack of awarness, that I had a incident report filed with the police and I'm going to file a claim against her insurance.

what an idiot. She deserves the hit on the insurance for being that clueless to her surroundings.

yup, not who you are or what you drive.. you just happend to be in the wrong place in the wrong time... This almost happened to me couple times in the parking lot.. ppl just back up without looking, I just honk at them to remind them to LOOK

Bad thing is that our horn do NOT work when car is turned off.. so if you're parked and just sitting in the car.....

That sucks. Why do Americans refer to female college students at "co-eds"? Co-ed means co-educational (ie male and female in the same dorm, class, etc). Anyway, I digress.

hahaha.. i was thinking the same thing... if she was hot, atleast you can get a # out of it or something =P Good luck man... there are a lot of careless people out there... we can only do so much. Sucks, but that's just how it is.

Don't worry, not everyone in America does that. I would say most don't, I rarely hear the term, and freshman year I did live in a co-ed dorm room.

I agree campus parking can be horrible. In my last car, a black one, I got rear ended while I was in class TWICE, by a white car. Came out to see nice white scratches and marks on the bumper. I've seen some horrible parking job done by a car that completely blocks off the car next to it from getting out.
