i got a ticket on a test drive of a 335!

oyyyy...got a ticket today (i live in california), my first one since one two years ago (got it cleared by traffic school..it was a moving violation). Anyways i was pushing the car hard (doing about 100 or so) and was already slowed down to about 70 and slowing further to 65 when in the distance i notice a cop..like about 30 car lengths back. I think nothing of it when he races up and flashes his lights at me and pulls me over. Gives me a ticket for doing 90 in a 65. Thing is, there was traffic across all lanes..including a bunch of trucks, so i had to speed up to get around them...the cop was prolly hiding among the trucks and got me. Anyways, i dunno if he used radar (its listed as approx speed:90 mph). Damn the 335 is soooo sweeet but soooo evil  . Loved the car though, especially the inflatable side bolsters and the sport shift...god 2nd gear is a BEAST

If the CA was in the car with you, let them handle the ticket for you. They should never have allowed you to operate the vehicle in an unlawful manner and since they condoned your actions they are co-conspirators and equally liable.

Pssssst...can you go tell the Nurse that I'm ready for my medication now?

yeah the CA was in the car. He was the one who was telling me to push it, lol...but he did warn me that any tickets i get are my own, so i dunno. He was a nice guy so i didnt wanna cause him too much trouble. But any ideas? Im thinking of doing ticket assasin. I thought cops would go compartively easy if ur test driving a car and just getting a feel of it or something

ticket assassin? ie. lawyer?

BTW you don't notice how fast and easy it is to get up to speed in this car. I told my bro and my SA that the car wouldn't change my driving habits... umm not true Driving responsibly but sometimes...

All I gotta say is, "with great power comes great responsibility!"

I would say challenge it, the cop may not show up and even if he does, it would be hard for him to show how he was able to get an accurate estimate of your speed from that far back. you've got nothing to lose, and at least they'll probably reduce the speed and fine for you-

Cruisers have speedometers specially calibrated for this purpose, he probably saw you at some point before you noticed and just averaged it out to 90 as opposed to 100.

nah ticket assassin isnt a lawyer..its a website that helps u out with doing a trial by written declaration in california. Yeah its way too easy to go stupid fast in this car . hey nightops this was on the SR99-S in Bakersfield just past the panama lane exit, dunno if u have been up that way. I still dunno how the cop got me from THAT far back and i dunno if he was using radar or not (it wasn t mentioned or anything). He didnt even ask me any questions...just license and registration, came back with teh ticket, and took off.

Why would the CA be responsible!?!?! Common sense, brother. If the CA told you to hit the car in front of you, would you do it? Breaking the law is breaking the law, regardless.

Do your best to get out of the ticket with honesty. Then hit up your CA for a really good deal. You must own this car.

With your heavy foot, you better slap a v1 on the handlebar!!! I can link you to a company that makes good v1 mount for bikes..

Now post some pictures of the Scooter!!
