Anyway, renewal was £1,199.83 bargain i thought

Just aswell i took out my new policy on the BMW last night

£820 for a E90 330d M Sport

I do like this "family car" business

Picking it up 6 days early now, car will be mine this saturday

Thats what i thought Rich!

Way i look at it is.. The astra is an "old boys" car, so probably has worse stats than that of the bmw. Cant see many Younguns driving around in 330d M Sports and making a mess of them!

However, renewals are often a good 25% higher than if you shop around and switch insurer every year: Which does account for most of it..

Did you have the newer diesel 888 in sport hatch guise or the older bertone coupe 888?

Been there myself with a 888 in the past.

Is that your new car in your signature? My E92 330d i had before was Le Mans blue, gorgeous colour, kinda miss it over the 'boring' black i have now. Not that theres anything wrong with black :-)

Prices gone up alot since then.

I'm 24. No accidents, no points, 3 years NCB.. paying £800 for my E90 320d and that's on a multicar policy! Best independant quote was just under 1000...

Must be down to good taste Danny!

Sadly, the 888 is the only car i've owned that I havn't got any photos of.

Ive done Clio (first car I ever owned, currently up for sale, wish I could justify buying it back for sentimel reasons! http://uk.findyourauto.net/Renault-C...835969833.aspx), Astra Coupe in Orange, it stood out!, 888 diesel, e46 320d coupe, e92 330d and e92 335d.

335d booked in dealers next week as its losing power steering fluid :-(

DXB - thats a good insurance deal you got there, i'm 27 and currently paying about £700 on the 335d, insurance companies seemed to pick me to screw this year, even shopping around still did me out of 200 quid more than last year...(insert relevant expletive here!)

Where you boys from?

Rich
