Crap..car is barely two weeks in my possession when....

Some Porsche spits up a big rock on my way down from Tahoe to the Bay area on Sunday night..and cracks my windshield on the passenger side. I hate that.

Damn that sucks, you shoulda been in front of him anyway!

I imagine we will end up upsetting some that follow the 335i with ZSP. Stand behind your car and look at the footprint, its incredible!

fix it as soon as possible. The sooner you do that the more chances you have to fix it for good.
Good luck

Used to be if the crack was longer than a quarter, you were out of luck.
With today's latest products, though, a pro can fix a crack up to the size of a dollar bill, depending upon its location.
In any case, it is true that sooner is better than later.

I'll trade you. My car is almost 6 months old. Last week the truck in front of me hit a piece of road debris sending it straight at me (rush hour traffic, no place or time to go anywhere). It was a nice piece of rusty metal that left a 5" scratch down to metal on my hood and a huge scrape on my windshield.

At least your windshield doesn't require repainting.

I don't think anyone would want that on a new car. I thought someone posted a ridiculous price with the rain sensor. Probably can be done in the Bronx for 1/3.
