e92 wont be here till August

Hey I live in the D.C. Area I contacted my BMW dealer to order my e-92. He said if I order this week that they are so backed up with orders for this car that it will not be arriving until AUGUST. Should I just wait and order a 08 e-92? When will the 2008 model be produced??

No I went to BMW of Fairfax. I bought my last one with them. They said they also could cut me a good price. Im suppose to go in Wednesday. But now I am just thinking of waiting.

I'm waiting to order the 2008 Coupe. My salesperson believes that I can order by early September. I'd rather wait a couple of months for the 2008, especially for any upgrades and additional wheel options. If you wait, be sure to have your salesperson put on the list to order right away.

At this stage I would just wait for an '08. I ordered my car the first week in March and its not going to be here until June so that seems about right. The only other thing that you can do really is see if any local dealers have an allocation slot open for one for May production that hasn't already been taken.

Wait, better to get the first 08 than the last 07. Unless you're willing to take off the lot whatever leftover the dealer has in stock at that time. Pricewise, your best deal.... option wise, not good.

Most German will take the entire month off in July for vacation my guess is why they push out the production date on your order til August.

BMW factory closes in august, which means you would get a July Production/August deliver car. I would wait until Sept for an 08 model year, especially if you have no particular rush (such as a lease ending)

In August its only raining..

why not try all the dealers in the DC area to see whats the best price you can get, it'll give you some leverage with Fairfax. also try the internet sales managers across the country and take delivery wherever you want (like SC).
