2009 Business Nav vs 2008 Pro Nav
Does anyone know if the New Business Nav is better than the old Pro DVD Nav?
i don't know why someone didn't upgrade it... But has anyone used both? |

My 2009 brochure shows the Business Nav as having the new controller but the old CCC menu interface. I've never seen a 2009 business nav car so I dont know if this is actually the case or whether its a printing error.

I saw a car advertised on here recently with CIC Business Nav apparently and it had a full screen (8") 2D map which looked petty good.

Surely you'll stick with your TomTom which outperforms both comfortably?

But given that I'm keeping the car for 3-4 years when i come to sell it i don't want to make life hard for myself by having the DVD NAV or no Nav at all. Ill be using my Tomtom on long journeys as the traffic is better and the Pro Nav when just doing shorter less important ones. I couldn't give a toss about the NAV part, i want the multimedia function more so than anything else. Not to mention I'm not paying £2000 for it so just like everyone else i can be picky |

BMW have been known to get stuff wrong the dumb asses put the wrong description under the M sport wheels also... got them the wrong way around. 313M under the 18" standard M sport spider style. Someones not going to be happy when they order them. |

I've got pro nav in mine and the screen is ALOT bigger than another lads business edition mav (same year cars, both 2010s). The DVD player works VERY well (shame it turns the screen off while driving, sound still works)
The multimedia side of it was a huge plus for me. It means the car has the extra dimension to keep me entertained, the TMC works well too (compared to CoPilot and a Garmin unit I tried) |

Yep I got caught out by that. The BMW brochure said that ED was introduced in Sep 07 when in fact it was Sep 08 so I thought that I was buying a 170bhp car.
