Question for vendors
Hi I am looking at upgrading my rims however here is my dilemma.
I live in Quebec an the roads are crap. I have a 335d on non sport suspension. I like the vb3 and the vmr 310 style rims Please I would like to drop but not much max 1.3inch I don\'t want to change the shocks. Now for the rims I want something solid preferable 18 and as a last resort would go to 19 and as flush as possible Et35? I would like to stay under 1500 for the rims. Please suggest the best springs |

Hey,
I would recommend the new ZCP style rims which are more refine version of the CSL look. They are also the most current competition wheels that are offered by BMW. We have Avant Garde ZCP style M359 wheels in stock for 19s which would give you a nice aggressive stance. We can get you those shipped to Quebec and it's in stock. Here's some pictures if you haven't seen already... |

18x8.5 +35-40 front and a 18x9.5 +33 rear is what we recommend with a 235/265 as a direct bolt-on fitment. This will be flush on all 4 corners without any kind of rubbing issues at stock ride height.

If the roads really are that bad, and you're getting a cast wheel. I would go with a wheel that is a low pressure cast vs. a gravity cast wheel as the latter are much more brittle.

Also linea corse 818s are a similar style but they are more aggressive and more concave. Take a look at them.
Sorry for the double post I hate that the iPhone app has no edit button. |
