sws 8 and amp upgrade done
Just wanted to say thanks to Technic and Jtsherri for all their help. I still can't believe how good the bass sounds people think I have a box In The trunk. it is a huge!!! difference i still cant believe it. The quality of Technic spacers and Jtsherri harness product is excellent. This whole project cost me $520.00. Thanks again guys

Do you have to run wiring throughout the car, or do you just splice into the harness?

Just the harness. With technics harness it taps into the subwoofer wires at the harness no need to run speaker wires all over the car. He sells the connectors to connect the sws8 to the oem connectors so no cutting or splicing of any oem wires.

It made the install easy. The hardest part was getting the Damn rear trunk panel out. I was worried about the amp getting to hot being under the trunk floor but it puts out so much bass I have the amp gain down so low its fine. I heard fosgate amps are under rated I believe it.

Does anyone have a DIY to post and a list of parts / vendors? I went from the Logic 7 system on my 2008 to the EPS on the M3 to the HiFi standard system on my 2009 335i. It really needs some help. Thanks
