Advice on new VMR wheel size on an e90

I have a 2007 crimson red e90 335i that I'm trying to figure out my wheel options on. I 'm leaning towards VMR v701's in gunmetal, and I'm trying to figure out the best option to enhance styling without rubbing issues.

The original recommendation I got was this:
19" v701 - 8.5 +35 front and a 9.5 +33 rear with a 235/265 combo. I just called to order these last week, but they are out of the rear configuration in gunmetal, and won't have any until late September.

Here's my dilemma, the rep informed me that +22 offset in the rear will work, but it may require fender rolling.
Can someone confirm that this will require fender rolling or not on an e90 (i've heard the e90 is more forgiving)?
Does this limit my future tire options?
Is the tire going to look stretched out to the point that the metal protrudes more than the rubber?

Thanks in advance!

I would recommend doing a search on e90post to get your answer.

Since this forum is dedicated to the X3, I doubt you will find an answer as quickly as you would from the 3 series forum.

You'll probably need some fender rolling unless you go for a stretched look.
