Spacers questions!

Would it be a not so good idea to use generic spacers like from pep boys rather than paying 150 bucks for h&r or other brand for some? Theyre only about 20 bucks for a pair and are a universal fit. I want them for my front 18" vmr vb3's that are +40 offset with h&r sport springs... they just look too sunk into the fender and wuss looking. What is your take and what size spacer do you think i should put to make the front more flush? Thanks!

I would say no because I'm sure universal spacers aren't hubcentric. If the wheel is 18x8.5 you could probably do a 10mm. You should take a ruler and measure for yourself though it's the best way to get a perfect fitment.

Yeah, universal fit and spacers sounds like a bad idea.

By safe and get the proper stuff.
