long crank on 328i

Hello All

My 328i is having some problem, I have long crank when I start my engine. But it only happens once in awhile, maybe 1/10. I brought in the car to the dealer they couldn't find any problem, but I am worry it will kill the starter.

True True, but so far dealer can't do anything about it..until it is broken

Not sure why it would happen on a 328, but on a 335, I can tell you 1/10 becomes 2/10 becomes 4/10 etc. And it happens gradually, over 6 mos. In my case, the car wouldn't run anymore. when it first happened to me I said what can I do, and I got the same thing, dealership said nothing is wrong.

Yeah John, thats what my dealer said, if it is 335i I will change the HPFP right now. But on 328i they have no ideas.

I have the same problem n my 06 325i, like you said. It happens once in a long while!
