Soon To Be 3 Series Owner

Just wanted to say "Hi" and thank you all for keeping up a good forum!

I just put a deposit down on a blue water metallic 328i with a saddle brown leather interior. It was quite a search to find a RWD car in this color that also had the premium and cold weather package, but I'm quite happy I found it! It's coming home in four days.

To date I've owned an '89 Plymouth Sundance 2.5L Turbo, '98 Camaro 3.8L, '96 Camaro Z28, '99 Camaro Z28 M6, and '04 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. So this is my first foray into BMW.

I'll be sure to keep reading and learning. If anyone has any sites that contain a technical or design info on E90 cars let me know. I really try to learn everything I can about the cars I own.

Very nice - our 330d is in Bluewater too! Ace colour!! May I recommend an M Steering Wheel? I'm not a fan of the standard one but its personal taste. Check it out though, see what you reckon. Enjoy your E90! If you have any questions - even noob ones - Inbox me!

my current loaner from BMW is a 328i with the same interior as you, but red exterior.

I'm surprised by how smooth this 328i is compared to my z4.

152 Hp / 185 lb-ft....2,650 lbs curb weight. It was a fun ride.

I'm coming from a Grand Prix, whose steering wheel is more akin to a fishing trawler. The diameter is much too large. Compared to that the 3 series wheel is a big improvement.
