Tire size help
I have '09 e90 335xi w/ sport pkg and current stock OEM at 225/45-17 tires.
I want to ditch the run flats and get some Michelin Pilot Sports. From my research and what I've read, for performance and handling purposes, would you suggest I go to : 245/35-18 tires? Or stick with OEM dimensions at 225/45-17 and just get non runflats? I don't really understand how important or drastic the differences are between the different section widths and aspect ratios. And if it makes sense to get different widths/aspect ratios for front tires vs rear tires. ?? any kind soul willing to shed some light on this for me? thanks in advance. |

I don't think that any 335i sport came with OE 17" wheels. Please confirm your actual wheel size (width and offset) and we'll give you some sizing recommendations.
