Question about HomeLink on our cars

is there other pieces/wiring to Homelink other than just the rearview mirror?

In other words, if I wore to buy a OEM rearview mirror with HomeLink can I use it in my car that came without HomeLink or is there more wiring and such elsewhere that I don't know about?

It depends, I think if you have the premium pkg it's just plug and play. I just removed my home link mirror from my car this wknd and put the stock one back in. Took less then 2 mins and no extra wires required.

if you have premium package, it should already have a homelink mirror...

If you don't already have the premium package, you need the homelink retrofit harness.
