TR1 18x9" wheels on a 335xi - max tire width?

So I ended up grabbing the clearance TR1's from TireRack, curious how wide I can go. I am lowered on H&R Sport springs. The wheels are ET35, 18x9" square. Currently I run 245/40R18 on 18x8.5" - what's the max width I should be able to go without needing spacers in the front? (in the rear, I have a 10mm spacer right now). Can I/should I go to 265, or should I put 255s and call it a day? This is for track use.

Thanks!

255 would be the safer choice. 265's will rub on the inside strut up front.
