Wheel Help

I don't know anything about getting BMW wheels so I need a little guidance.
I want to get style 313 wheels for my 335i xDrive e90.

Should I get replicas? Where is a good place to get them? How much should I pay?

Thanks all

From what I've read you can pick up replica wheels that weigh less and are just as strong, but whether they're more expensive or less expensive than OEM depends on the construction process and brand.

It is scientifically impossible for lighter CAST wheels (style 313 replicas) to be nearly as strong as the heavier FORGED wheels (style 313 OEM). Therefore the disadvantage to the replicas are that they're more prone to damage.

So there are no Forged wheels lighter than the OEM offerings?

Sure there are, but no aftermarket vendor makes forged style 313 wheels... only BMW. Funny thing is that even though the BMW's are forged, they are still heavier than the aftermarket's cast.

BMW style 313: 11-12kg
Miro style 942 (313 reps): 10-11kg

Prone to damage...
I have the stock 335i wheels right now. Compared to the stock wheels, do I need to then be more careful about the size of bump I go over with the replica wheels?

I don't track me car or anything. For daily driving, any paticular concerns with replica wheels?

Yes, you'll have to be careful and slow. Changing to the non-runflat tires help too because the stock runflats are stiff / transfer more shock to the rims.
