Is this possible to code? - Launch Control cool down
I'm interested in know if anyone has attempted to remove the cool down period from the DCT's Launch Control feature?
I understand BMW has implemented this feature so the transmission isn't abused, however, the cool down period is measured in miles, as opposed to minutes. For example; if I go to the drag strip to lay down some 1/4 mile runs I would most likely only be able to get in 1 run per hour or so, depending on the amount of people in line to race. However, since BMW makes you drive 7 miles before the Launch Control reset, I would only get to use it once for the entire day. I was wondering if it's even possible and if anyone has had success. Thanks fellas. |
