they make a wheel that has electronics on the top of the wheel for 0-60, etc.
this one doesnt have that your original buttons will work fine, just helping op out

The steering wheel works just like any other one. There is an "electronic" version which has LED lights on the steering wheel itself. Your multi-function buttons (volume, track change, etc) all still work.

Electronic vs Non-electronic is just a way to differentiate between the two types of BMW Performance Steering Wheels

i would consider buying the trim separate if your wheel buyer doesnt want the combo price.

How does that work if I already have a wheel with an airbag? Does the BMW dealership change it out?

Correct. You can either do it yourself or the dealer can do it for you. The airbag gets removed from your current wheel and gets swapped over to the new one. Takes about an hour.

Why are you selling this?...just curious. I have the mtech which I like but I wouldn't mind changing just for the hell of it. Would you consider a trade + I give you money? I know mine's worth less.

If not, I'd be interested in this in the near future.

I wish I could feel this thing though...
