E46 rims on an E92?
Is it possible to mount E46 rims and tires on an E92? Do they fit the same way? I recently sold my E46 330i and bought an E92 328i, and I would like to reuse my P225 45 R17 winter rims.
Thanks! |

You can use them. However, the wheels are gonna be pretty tucked into the fender because the offset will be off. If you do not care about looks, go ahead.

you should be able to use them, if you have the sport package the 17" wheels might not be able to clear the brakes though. I believe this is only for the 335i though.

They'll fit but they would look a bit sunken in due to the more conservative offsets the E46 has.

Thanks for the replies guys. I don't mind if it looks a little sunken, since they are just winter rims anyway.
I did keep my set of 18" Breyton Imagine rims from my E46 and was going to mount some runflats on them for the E92 as well. I suppose I can buy spacers or something like that so that they aren't sunken looking? Are there any complications I should look out for? Thanks again! |
