19inch oem style 230 inquiry

Does anyone know if there is a difference in offset with the 335i coupe and cabriolet -style 230 wheels? or any differences overall that i should know about?

can those rims just be thrown on to a 08 335i that currently has 18inch wheels?

Also how can you tell the difference between OEM and replicas?

230 are the same, and they'll fit any e9x.

I believe replica have a little more aggressive offset. However, replica r not as strong as the own.

Is there any stamp or sign on the Wheels that proves its OEM vs the Replicas? IE: on the inner rim a serial number..etc...

OEM wheels always has some stamping on the back of the spokes.

oem has BBS stamped on the back and some numbers

yes the offset difference is only 2mm.. you won't be able to measure it. Stay away from the reps at all cost. They are not as strong as OEM. Problem is, how to tell what's replica or not? They could easily stamp a fake BBS logo on the back as well.

Real OEM style 230 from Tischer are only $1750. Not that expensive, just get those.
