Just took delivery last night

got my car last night, it docked on friday and my dealer called me yesterday to pick up. this is my first BMW and i have to say that i am very impressed with the company so far, i dealt with Frank at JMK BMW in springfield, NJ.

the car itself is amazing.... got an alpine white E90 with navigation and premium package beige interior with light poplar wood trim

i saw the car on the lot and instantly fell in love with the looks all over again, driving home the navigation was wonderful.... took me a few minutes to get used to the i-drive and learn my way around it and i love it dont know why all the negativity towards it, plus the coolness factor is off the charts.

Driving felt like a dream, very smooth i didnt push it too hard but i stepped on it once or twice and felt some very nice power (i could only imagine what the 335 feels like) the handling was everything i expected and more after years of reading about BMW vehicles, I now see what you guys mean when you say that you become one with the car when driving, its definitely a great experience. Owning a BMW was always a dream of mine and i'm not dissapointed in the least bit.

i know i know this thread is worthless without pics but its just a regular E90 nothing special no mods you guys have seen hundreds of these already, and it was raining last night but i will definitely get out and take some pictures this weekend, just wanted to share my experience in the meantime.

sucky part is that im sitting here at work and i have to wait till the afternoon to drive it again, i dont know how im going to make it through the day...........

The day after you pick up the car should always be a vacation day. You're useless at work anyway because the car is all that you're thinking about.

You're not kidding man, my body is at my desk but my mind is elsewhere lol. its going to be a very unproductive day for me, i just got this job a little over a month ago otherwise this would have definitely been a vacation day.

Feel the same way when I just took delivery of my car. I could not wait to drive it all day long. I even tried to find somewhere to go and enjoy driving my car.

Congrats BigJ. Mine is on a boat, expected to dock 4/20, so I've been trying to figure out a delivery date so I can plan a vacation day... Happy touring this weekend, when it hits 50+ and dry. I'm a couple hours north of you and drove through heavy wet snow to work this AM, so that makes the wait a little easier.
