2009 Bluetooth only used handsfree, not A2DP audio streaming. A2DP is a relatively new aspect of Bluetooth. But in 2009, the hot ticket was buying a BlackBerry Audio Gateway and plugging it into your console for power and audio out, and using that to stream audio into the head unit.

A wire. Boy, must be rough. We had to go to school uphill both ways in the snow...

VP whats your take on the AUX quality

I got an HTC phone and its not to good going through the AUX as compared to the same playlists I burn to a CD . It could also be the weak output of the phone . Are most of these analog outputs on phones and ipods weak.

Here is something that can make it work
http://www.amazon.com/Britelink-Blue...0999774&sr=1-8

Bluetooth receiver. Works with A2DP too. Just connect the output of it to the Aux in, and the USB power to a cig lighter to USB adapter ($2) and it should work.

Here is a thread to read too.

I cant seem to see why a rental Kia had this option enabled and yet a 50k car doesnt.
