What's it worth?

Hi,

Finding I do very few miles these days since the two children came along, mostly use my car for dashing up and down the motorway to airports, hence it's pretty low mileage - hit 30K last week.

Question: If I was to think about either cutting it in, or selling privately, any ideas what I'd be looking to get for it?

Spec:
2008 E92 335d M Sport Coupe
Black Sapphire
Black Dakota leather
M light−alloy 225 M 19" (all kerbed to some extent .. I know)
Floor Mats
Front Seat Heating
Aluminium Glacier Silver interior trim
PDC
Pro Nav
Bluetooth + telematics
6FL USB/audio
Individual audio system
High Gloss Shadow Line
Sun Protection Glass
Anthracite Headlining

My suspicion is that it's not worth doing and I may as well just stick it out. I don't think I'd get too much back as a premium for it being quite low mileage.

Ta

Privately I'd say about £22k?

Here is a very similar main dealer car advertised at £24,850 before haggling.

Does your car have any warranty?

I looked at a very similar AUC last week and it was 23k so for a private sale I think that you are looking at £20k.

Off thread slightly, but I was picking my car up from a service the other day and saw a stunning M3 on the forecourt. Decided to enquire and see how he numbers stacked up and to my horror the monkey on the other side of the desk offered me 13K on my 07 (57) E90 335i, 24K miles, fully loaded. Needless to say the numbers didn’t stack up very well and I didn’t come home with an M3 which is just as well as I don’t quite know how I would have explained that the Mrs.

But 13K……..

Not low mileage is it. Average I'd say.

Good Luck with sale!

For that sort of money it'll be staying on my drive. Better the devil you know and all that, at least I know that it's been well looked after.

My LeMans blue 335i was easily the hardest car to keep looking good, showed every smear and bit of dust.
