Help with listening to music via bluetooth
I have a 2011 328xi with iDrive Nav and I have an iPhone 4 running the latest iOS.
When I enter my car, my iPhone auto connects to the car and I have no problem making calls, looking up phone book entries, receiving calls, etc via bluetooth between my car and my iPhone. When I download a new music track on my iPhone and press play on the iPhone (using the iPod app), the music plays out of my iPhone speaker and not out of the car's stereo speakers. I can't figure out what setting I need to switch to/change either on iDrive Nav system or the iPhone. I would have thought if the phone portion of the audio comes out the car speakers, that music should also to, but it doesn't. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance! |
