How to tell if I have wrong TPMS

We all know 07's have different TPMS sensors than newer model e92's.

I have an 07 and bought a set of 225m model wheels off another car. I now get a "TPMS malfunction" error, resetting TPMS won't work.

These came off another 07 but i was wondering how i could tell if these weren't the correct sensors for my car?

I've searched with no luck

You'll have to remove the sensors and check part #'s to know if they are the improper TPMS. Have you tried bringing the car to the dealership for a TPMS diagnosis?

No I haven't but I'm out of warranty so i was trying not to do that LOL. I guess i will bring it in. Thanks for your help bud
