Hey guys, so I just got an '08 E92 M3 but unfortunately, it didn't have the iPod adapter option that lets you control it through the iDrive. This is pretty annoying as I always carry my music library in the iPod, and listening to radio just doesn't cut it. I believe I have the basic audio, not the upgraded package.

The dealer quoted me $900 (!!!) to add the iPod integration in, which didn't seem like it was worth it to me.

Are there other ways to get the integration? I saw that there's an integration kit for MOST Bus vehicles but I'm not sure if I have that or not:
