My E90 was vandalized

This happened about 10 days ago but I didnt post because I know my telling the world isnt going to undo the damage, but I feel as though I should share it.

I went out at 21:00 on Saturday, didn't drink a single drop of alcohol, came back around 01:00 on Sunday and parked it directly in front of the entrance into my apartment building. Drove the car around 12:00 on Sunday and saw the windshield damage. Upon later inspection saw the rest of crap.

It'd be nice if people stopped beating up cars, since they cant fight back. Or, just do it while I'm around so that I could fight for the car...

Brunt of damage: Hood & Windshield
Insurance's initial estimate: $1802.29 - $250 Deductible

I know a couple other fellas that have E46s, and they said the vandalism is just bound to happen. College town and everyone thinks that if you have a nice car mommy and daddy gave it to you. I'm sure its true for some, but not for myself.
