Coded my car **UTAH**

I finally got my cable in the mail and after a couple long hours managed to code my 2006 325i. It really isn't as complicated as it seems. I'd be willing to help out if someone wants to give it a shot on their car. I'm not responsible for anything that may go wrong, however. Shoot me a PM.

Hey I've been researching a little about coding my 335i. What's are the steps that you had to follow? It seems complicated.

I wanted to code my daytime lights and folding mirrors so they fold/unfold when I turn the car on/off. Let me know. Thanks!

Hi! Although I have been a visitor of this forum for almost 6 months now but I am rather new registered user. I recently read several threads about coding. I have 2007 E90 328i. I am interested in coding my car but I am confused about the software. Would you mind sharing how can I obtain correct coding software? And does that software work on a Mac? If not, I also have a PC laptop. Please reply at your convenience.

I spent some time reading "coding success" thread and checked out a few links to buy cable. I'll be honest here I haven't read all the pages yet. I'm new to this and still confused. I want to buy the coding cable for my '07 E90 328i sedan but I'm not sure which cable and especially the merchant to buy it from. Do you guys recommend anyone to order the cable from? I would appreciate the help of this forum members. Thanks in advance.

All I did was went to the "coding success" thread and downloaded the software and tutorial pdf. If you follow the tutorial step by step, you should be fine. The only hang up I ran into was that my laptop is a 64 bit machine and the coding software only works on 32 bit. I had to run a virtual machine and then install 32 bit Windows. It was a pain, but that's just due to my computer. Everything else was relatively easy. As far as Mac goes, I have no idea. You'd have to look that up on your own. Crazy Apple fanboys...
