E90 red m-sports

Hi, guys. Whats the deal with the early e90 red m sports. Where they using up paint in the factory when built, i've seen a 320d (163 bhp) red m sport and i was wondering why there so rare, but i seem to like them.

I had a red E93 M-sport - I ordered it from the factory in that colour, the same as most others will have done?

it was a no-cost option to choose red or white at the time but most opted for metallic paint instead, hence the rarity.

What year was your e93? How did you find the paintwork for polishing etc marks and stuff?
