The E92 335 has a sport mode?

I've been reading other posts and I've been getting confused.

Sport mode is achieved by moving the selector to the left while in Drive. You will see "DS" in the display, indicating "Drive, Sport". It will hold the revs higher when shifting, etc.

From this mode you can also enter Manual mode and shift it manually.

...and we're answering your question. More politely I might add, than is generally afforded such a RTFM question. Watch the 'tude.

Thanks for the elitism, LEDZEP. Forum posts don't have any connotation. It was off on your behalf to think that I was trying to be the least bit sarcastic.

Thanks all for the responses.

Because I feel like playing referee today, may I offer this bit of advice.

1- When making a post, it is best not to preface it as a "retarded" question. Use of that term is not socially correct. Something like "mentally challenged" would be more suitable.

2- When a post is prefaced with that sort of connotation, expect to get answers as some of the above.

3- If you include as much information about the vehicle when making a request for answers to a question, you will get replies that are specific to your inquiry.

For example, you only mentioned an E92 335i. If you would have specified whether you own one or whether you are referring to a 6MT or a Steptronic transmission equipped vehicle, I'm sure the responses would have been more informative.

4- Sport mode is too vague a term. We are not rocket scientists (most are not) and require that you write exactly what you mean. Sport mode could mean transmission settings or it could also be taken as you meant sport package or sport suspension or sport seats....you get the picture?

I hope you take this advice in the spirit it was meant and you have a rewarding and enjoyable experience on E90POST.com.

Now if you will excuse me, I must be going. I am late for dinner with the King and Queen of Fredonia. They are serving chilled monkey brains for desert and I must not forget my spoon.

Ta Ta For Now!!

I thought this was all about Cupholders, IPOD Cables, and Oil Temperature. I'm confused.
