330xi Hard Reset

I'm about to buy a used 330xi and I was wondering if there was a way to reset the settings the previous owner had. Basically everything in the navigation, presets, key fobs, etc.

Why? Just set what ever you need such as seat memory, keyfob memory, etc. Who cares if there is old addresses in GPS, once you synch with your phone it will only see your phonelist.

theres seat settings...all presets...nav....all vehicle settings.

i feel like the car would have to be re formatted

Yeah, it'd be easier to reset everything to factory settings.

Hmm apparently holding down the iDrive button for 25 seconds will reset everything.

Reprogram the HU.

As well as all the other modules....that will reset it.
