Got my new E93 yesterday, came minus ipod cable, sales know nothing about it, radio manual clearly states for iPod plug both USB and Audio. Manual shows iPod should come up in menu, as I did not have cable I tried just USB as you would a memory stick. iPod will play music but only random and unable to access albums, artists etc, plays music fine and info comes in radio display. Also once connected iPod shows do not disconnect so no control from iPod either. Have contacted customer services re cable awaiting reply.

This will be interesting, to see if the cable is on hold in the UK aswell as the USA, or if its already released there

Going to dealers armed with part number tomorrow, will see what they say, still awaiting official reply from BMW customer service.

I'm an American, bought a U.S. spec 335i from the military sales here in the U.K, and my car did not come with the cable for it's 27 March delivery. The cable was delivered to my sales rep on the 4th of April. So they must either be available (to some degree) here in the U.K. or my Sales Rep just loves me.
