We need more reviews and Ohhh's and Ahhh's from 2012 owners
There really has not been enough reviews posted by the lucky ones to have new 2012 650i verts. We need to understand how happy...or not you are. We need to see if there is any buyer's remorse. What are you most happy with, least happy with? How is the ride/acceleration? How does it compare to your last ride? Are you getting appropriate attention? What are they saying? How does it stand up if challenged by appropriate challengers?
I need to live vicariously through your posts until my coupe arrives. Everyone is too silent and it makes me worry. |

I am taking this friday to monday off, making a 2000 km drive up and down the west coast here in Norway. If you take a look at the map you can imagine how inspiring these roads are I'll leave a test report when I am back.

i took delivery of mine 6 weeks ago. i absolutely LOVE it. there isn't anything 2012 650 vert is lacking, got power, ride/acceleration is impressive, very masculine, sport + suspension is awesome driving through the canyons here in LA, comfort & luxury is there when you want it. i find the normal mode over comfort is best for normal driving conditions, although sport mode turns it into a adept performer. people slow down to check it out on the road, when parked people come up and walk around it. when i drive it top down people express their excitement, say how beautiful and amazing it looks. there is no comparison to my previous vert, interior is day and night, it feels and drives like a totally different car. $100+ price tag is worth every penny. mine is fully loaded so i say that is the way to go. just today brand new 2010 650 vert driver gave me thumbs up! I was challenged twice so far 0-62-mph time of 5.0 seconds I wan't the one behind.

I drove a convertible at the Amelia Island Concours and reported impressions in GCF.
This is a great new car. I am a coupe guy, but the convertible is a fine Grand Tourer. It makes my wait for my coupe [ordered in March] even tougher. PS: The car I drove tracked nicely and did not possess the on center numbness that some of the earlier driving reports talked about. Although they could have left the comfort driving mode off the car.
