BMW to bring twin-turbo diesel to the U.S in '08

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--BMW AG (BMW.XE) said it would build its new 2008 X6
crossover at its South Carolina plant and bring a twin-turbo diesel to the U.S.
market in 2008, part of a growing push to expand diesels in the U.S., The
Detroit News reported in its Thursday editions.
BMW also said it will increase its capacity of its South Carolina plant from
140,000 to 200,000 units in the next few years, the paper reported.
