Another question: Most of the vendors are companies that lease these car's out - what sort of percentage of the cars market value do they look to recover? Just seen a beautiful black RS4 on there - an 08 with 44k on the clock. On the market, that would go for, roughly, 20-21k.

If i knew enough about auctions and if it was local would have liked to see this. If it was circa £10k and only minor cosmetic, worth a punt I would say.

20k sounds a bit oow for an 08 RS4 is it not ??? If that is their going rate now there could be a little temptation.

As regards the BMW above, condition is listed as Grade C which doesn't sound too far up the scale so you might have a bit of work to do.

stone chips to scratches to missing bits etc.

If its in auction and not on a forecourt, and listed as a Grade C, I'd suggest its a bit of a mess. As I said, plenty of dealers will AUC cars with 80k on the clock.

It's worth around 13-14.5 with minor cosmetic damage easily, mine has some and I paid a bit more for mine as it's an 07 with less miles.

These command VERY strong money and the book price is usually just a guide
