U.S. online order to Canada Duty Tax?

Hey guys,

Anyone tried ordering online from US?

What are the cost for the brokerage fee, duty tax, etc....?

I'm about to order a set of 19" rims online @ Jlevi Streetwerks. The transit company is FedEx.

Anyone experienced that?

Thanks,
Vincent

so are you Suki or Vincent?

Well, usually vendors put down the actual cost of the product. Here's the reason why:
Say the actual cost of your rims = 3,000USD, if JLevi puts down 1,000USD as the value of the product, well if the rims happen to be damaged during transit, 1,000USD is all the shipper will pay.

So to determine the duty and brokerage, listen to SGXi.

Duty depends on where the product is made. If it is made in the US or Mexico they will be duty free. If they are made elsewhere duty on tires is 7% and on wheels it is 6%.
