320d has a brother with a drinking problem coming

:-)

Well, there we have it.

The edo household will be taking delivery of a shiny BMW M6 Coupe. I lay the blame for this squarely on the PH long term car, and recommendations on here!

Even more spooky was the arrival of my Evo Magazine yesterday with a buying guide for the M6! Timing or what!

Took the car for a nice long test drive and having driven a couple of V10 M5's was still gob-smacked by the performance it is simply sensational and relentless.

I had looked at another M6 but it turned out to have had 5 owners which was a little strong for me.

This car has only had 2 owners, who I'd like to personally thank for saving us just over £53,000 on the original eye watering £80k+ invoice price.

Standard spec on these is pretty comprehensive; Head-Up Display, Prof DVD Nav, heated elec memory seats, Logic-7 hi-fi, adaptive lights etc. On top of that this car has DAB, soft close doors (how lazy!?!), Bluetooth, TV.

It's only done 25,000 miles, and has recently been serviced. Now we wait for idrive and SMG to be updated by the main dealer, and a few other minor bits and bobs.

Can't wait.

The styling is certainly divisive but there's no denying it's a hell of a car.

Ideal for GT type use/applications I would hazard.

Phew!

It's just in the workshop as we speak. They hadnt done anything to it. GOt them to apply latest idrive SW, SMG SW, new motor for drivers soft close door, and a few other bits and bobs.

Being delivered Friday. I'm at work, so my wife gets the fun first. Just hope it still has some fuel left by the time I get home!!
