Im getting my e92 335 in 2 weeks! Got a couple of questions!
Hi guys im new to the ''posting scene'' and i got a couple of questions to ask. Well actually its one question.
I ordered my car in the 3rd week of January, and Bmw called me yesterday to tell me its on the boat and i will get it in 2 weeks 3 weeks max. Since i ordered in January is there a chance that the fuel pump/ oil temp probleme has been fixed? Or am i in the same situation as the previous e92s? And are these problems really wide spread? I need to know so i can decide between buy or lease. Thanks guys! |

Nope pretty much soon as you really put your foot into it this summer it's going to overheat, the Fuel pump will pop and your ride will burst into flames....
Lease or own either way it's under warranty, though it is still a first model year so... Yeah. Dunno how widespread these "Problems" are, but out of the thousands sold I'd say not Horribly widespread though not impossible. If your car was built on Friday though, you're screwed. Welcome to the board though, lots of information here.

from what i've read it only affects the first ones built. If you ordered in Jan you should be fine.

Maybe it is in Germany, here in the States though it's all about avoiding Friday Afternoon built anything made in the States. Labor force being what it is here, they tend to be extra distractable and ready to hit the bars at about Noon Friday... Not much "Pride In Workmanship" here, no it's mostly "Pride In Union Pay scale".
